1-Would there be any visible difference if the earth was still in the solar system and and the sun moving around the earth?

On an old fashioned tipping scale there is a cup with water on the left and another on the right (same amount of water). On the left there is a ping pong ball (with air inside, floating) in the water, tied with a string to the bottom of the cup. On the right there is an acrylic ball of the same volume (but filled inside, heavy, sinking), tied by a string to the pole you see on the little square image on the right. (in sum, floaty ball tied to the cup on the left from bellow; sinky ball tied from above [the pole]). WHEN THE GUY LETS GO OF THE PLATES WILL THEY TIP TO THE LEFT, TO THE RIGHT, OR BE BALANCED?? So, is any heavier overall, are they balanced? Any questions feel free to ask...
