Every heroes story follows roughly the same outline. The religious books are not heroes tales (although they contain some), but they do present a similar element: the ordinary world vs a special world. The characters of those stories are usually in an ordinary world, until something marks their entry in a special world where anything and everything is possible. In the creation myths, it is the other way around, as the characters start of in the special world and then something marks the entry in the ordinary one.
