It has been so long since I have seen a reference to one of these that I did not remember that these greenish holograms had a quality that is not comparable to the more common stereoscopic holograms.
These 3D renderings actually create a 3D image complete with parallax which will reveal more of the object as we move our eyes/head instead of being a static image which could be 2D if it did not jump out the screen. 
Watch the video and you'll see what I mean. It also explains how it is created [which I found very interesting] and why it is monochromatic.
