Productivity is creating economic growth, but what about time?

Productivity is creating economic growth, and we are all being paid a bit more on average, but none of that extra value is being delivered in the form of time. Capitalism might provide people with a lot more money, but it's really about maximising output (and profits). So workers are essentially robbed of the alternative: The time that productivity may save.  - Business Insider.
In hunter gatherer communities the work day was of about 5 hours!
